2 Dec 2016 – Jory Nash House Concert

Jory Nash, award winning Toronto-based singer and songwriter will be returning to Plainfield for another great evening of music and stories.  A master of lyrics & melody with an engaging wit and easy communication, his concert will feature songs from many of his albums, and an album-in-the-making.  [You must pre-register for this event… see below.)


Expect a rewarding evening of stimulating music about love, hard decisions and life observed. Jory’s warm, unique voice urges you to listen to his thoughtful lyrics and intricate melodies.  He is a relaxed performer, at ease on the stage with years of experience performing, recording and running festivals of traditional, modern & urban folk music. Jory Nash has 8 critically-acclaimed albums and multiple awards.  He has been named a Critics Choice, and selected as Best Producer… Canadian Folk Music Award (CFMA).  Besides his own albums Jory has written songs for Juno-nominated jazz singer Lori Cullen, as well as music for two film soundtracks.  He is proficient on piano, guitar and banjo.

Concert time – 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  (There will be a 45-minute potluck dessert break at 7:30 p.m. so please bring a food or beverage contribution.  Hot beverages will be provided.)

For this concert,  Jory has suggested a donation of $15.  Make out any checks to “Jory Nash.”
